Ms. Durdon manages the Central New York Biotech Accelerator facility operations, SUNY Medical College’s 52,000+ square foot state-of-the-art New York State Certified Business Incubator, inclusive of laboratory licensing to accepted small businesses working to commercialize a biotech-related product or service. She coordinates a monthly Concept to Commercialization Virtual Series as well as an Empire State Development grant supported Medical Device Innovation Challenge (MDIC), offering intensive mentorship for early stage innovators. Ms. Durdon has over 20 years of clinical research management and medical device regulatory experience and continually works to expand networks for clients and MDIC participants within a collaborative innovation ecosystem.

Mary Howard

A visionary coach and advisor to entrepreneurs | Program Director, ELabNYC

Ms. Howard is a serial entrepreneur who founded NY Metro Area ELabNYC, Next Milestone, ABCT and WCBA programs. These life sciences competitive entry annual programs serve first time entrepreneurs of all stages to help them unlock the unknown, are led by founder entrepreneurs and provide a structured curriculum with no fee or equity required from invited participants. 255 ventures are alums who have collectively raised over $2.3B and hired 1,000 employees since entering the programs.

James is currently the Director for Business Development of the University of Chicago Medicine International Programs and the former Director of Strategy Business Development of KHIDI USA. James earned his BA in business administration in Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, and Master of Health Administration in University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. James is an expert in international marketing, business development and project management with working experience at both a leading US healthcare institution and a Korean government agency.
