DoHyun Cho is the founder, president, and CEO of a U.S. consulting company W Medical Strategy Group. W Medical Strategy Group has 5 subsidiaries including World Korean Medical Journal (publication), New York Health Forum (Conference), W MediTech (medical device distribution), W MedicalCare (global healthcare agency), and Green Alley (skincare product distribution). He is also the Board of Director for Enzychem Lifesciences. Before establishing W Medical Strategy Group, DoHyun was the director general of Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) USA in New York for six years, a specialized agency of Ministry of Health of Republic of Korea. He also served as a Board of Director for KOCHAM (Korean American Chamber of Commerce) and was actively involved in a bio/pharma industry including serving as the Advisory Member for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Harmonization Center, Korean government delegate for APEC Life Science Innovation Forum, Healthcare division representative for Korea-US Business Council, and etc.

Chul Kyoon Park is a President and CEO of It's a Wig, a U.S. based wig and beauty product distributor, which holds the largest brand market share in the U.S. and directly distributes to thousands of retail customer accounts throughout the nation. He donates over 2,000 wigs per year to American Cancer Society and was designated as the best supporting company by the American Cancer Society since 2012. Chul Kyoon Park received appreciation award from Korea University Medical Center and Kyunghee University Medical Center of Korea for his philanthropic donations to hospitals and patients.

William Lee

Attorney, Ladas & Parry, LLP

 

William Lee is an Attorney at Ladas & Parry, LLP. His experience includes the preparation and prosecution of utility and design patent applications, domestically and internationally. He drafted patent applications directed to methods, hardware, and software for utilization of the Internet and for musical instruments. He also prosecuted patent applications directed to electromagnetic radiation shields, mobile apps, optical lasers, detectors, 3D printing, software applications, etc. He also has experience in litigation, having contributed to drafting opinion letters regarding patent infringement, claim construction briefs, jury charges, and pretrial motions.

Yiqin Shen

Senior Reporter, Mergermarket

 

Yiqin (Yee-chin) Shen is a Senior Reporter with Mergermarket and Dealreporter based in the New York office. Since joining in 2015, she has been covering US healthcare M&A, IPO and capital raise deals, as well as cross-border transactions across sectors involving Asia strategic investors and PE/VC firms. Her coverage also includes cross-border transaction regulatory review and policy development in the US and Asia. Prior to moving to the US, she interned at Mergermarket's Shanghai office for a year, after a stint at Reuters Shanghai bureau. Yiqin Shen holds a MS from Columbia Journalism School and a BA in Journalism from Fudan University.

She works closely with product developers, marketing, and creative agencies to bring Korean brands to the US market. She is also responsible for the management of sales and relationships with national chain market and online platforms. Her focus is on finding trustworthy brands from South Korea that are natural, safe and high-quality to meet rigorous standards of US natural beauty industry. She is also an editorial staff of World Korean Medical Journal and organizing executive of New York Health Forum.

Yeereum Chung

Product Manager, Green Alley

 

Yeereum Chung is the Product Manager of Ecommerce at Green Alley, the distributor of natural skincare brands. She works in collaboration with skincare companies to design and develop marketing materials and help plan, coordinate and participate in marketing events. She is also responsible for determining customers' needs by obtaining market information and bringing new products to US market by analyzing proposed product reqirements and product development programs. She is also an editorial staff of World Korean Medical Journal and coordinating manager of New York Health Forum.

Ji Soo Yoon

Legal Counsel, W Medical Strategy Group

 

Ji Soo Yoon is a Compliance Offier at Green Alley, distributor of natural skincare brand. He also serves as a Manager of Corporate Operation at W Medical Strategy Group and as an editorial staff of World Korean Medical Journal. He develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of compliance program at Green Alley. Ji Soo Yoon holds a J.D. from the Boston College Law School and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Rochester.
